Michael Louis Kraft

Began studying guitar at the age of nine at Beck's music store in Northeast Philadelphia, the same Music School that our mandolin player Susan Salmon started at. Played in local bands. Studied Jazz guitar with Joe Sgro, Pat Martino, Joe Federico and Jimmy Bruno. Played in many bands that toured Canada, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Studied Classical guitar with Ben Verdery of Yale University, Allen Krantz and currently studying with John Penn. One of Michael's strongest attributes is composing original music with styles ranging from film scores, jazz, classical, urban R&B to pop.

Graduated from University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pa with a BA in Liberal Arts. Master Music classes with George Crumb and Aaron Copeland. While attending U. Penn., Michael worked all the major casinos In Atlantic City in various music venues, and was personally chosen by Merv Griffin to play his Resorts Casino In Atlantic City.

Hobbies include alternative housing design. As a partner in his own company, Great American Homes, Michael was awarded a multi-million dollar contract with the Israeli Government to supply emergency housing.

Michael is currently working at the Bachanal Restaurant at Caesar's, Atlantic City with the Kraft Trio, and also major Fortune 500 companies private parties and high-end weddings.
